Giant Belts

I’m all about wearing a bulky belt to cinch the waist. After all, they’re in style, they help build the appearance of curves, and accentuate a smaller waist. However, when wearing an abnormally large size belt that makes you or someone on the street question whether you’re planning to do extensive squats, just won “Worlds Best Wrestler” (because obviously that’s not something to joke about), or sport a groovy (yes I just said groovy) retro back brace… then you and your hunk of a belt have serious issues. Instead stick to the chic mid-size belt! Trust me on this one.

Is it me or is this hot August weather making everyone a little off-pudding?!

First, it was the man who stepped onto the sleepy and quiet bus after the 3rd stop this morning and proceeded to yell at everyone for having their I-pods up too loud all while placing giant Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones over his head. It took everything not to say “Excuse me Sir Crazy, while you’re landing a plane let the rest of us ride in peace.” Did I mention that he chose to sit next to me?

Only on the RUNWAY can you… catwalk but not actually walk a cat, get a job based on your size because apparently it does matter, and be covered head to toe in fur while acting like everything is perfectly normal.

After a frigid winter followed by scorching heat waves throughout the summer, FALL is finally peeking around the corner only to prove that…. God does indeed still love us!

Okay ladies and gents, it’s official the end of an era is coming. While it started way back when in Laguna and even spun off to The City, The HILLS will be officially over Tuesday on MTV. And though I’m sure we’ve had better things to do with our time, somehow we always found ourselves watching last weeks episode, this weeks episode, and The Hills after show…leaving only a miracle if any studying or productivity actually happened on Tuesday nights.

Even though the trendy bib necklaces might not ever compare to the plastic ones you receive when eating ribs or lobster. It still might be worth owning one!  However, the bibs I’m referring to are a pretty perfect effortless way to spice up a boring fitted tee into something a little special.
As for babies being the next trend setters, I wouldn’t hold your breath or bottle!

If you’re in your 20′s you’ve most likely reached that time in your life where from April to August vacation revolves around who’s wedding you’ll be attending, which one’s have an open bar, and how many weekends you actually have free. And as someone in their 20′s there is also the age old question of “What am I going to wear?”. Now this question could be avoidable if  you were capable of wearing anything to a wedding, but as we all know that is merely impossible!

Spring is up in the air or…under the snow! Either way it has to get here eventually. Right? This years hottest spring items are far from just trendy.
