Being from a small town I am in no way, shape, or form a stranger to denim, overalls, flannel, and boots. I’m also not a stranger to decorative red and blue stars on the outside of houses, country music, roosters as décor, Carhart jackets, or John Deere apparel.
So if your wanting to be country by all means move to a farming community, buy some corn on the cob from a corn stand, and wear a John Deere t-shirt. However, if you want to look country without going the extra mile I suggest looking Country Chic. And by this I mean dropping the wanna be cowboy hat and cut off jean shorts and add a bit of realness to the mix!
5 Country Chic Necessities
- Blue jean colored skirt (faux denim) or light/dark wash jeans
- Half sleeve flannel, checkered, white, or denim shirt
- Brown leather (or faux leather) belt
