Coming soon is the one and only holiday, Valentine’s Day. It’s the day you’ve been anxiously awaiting , of course, to determine the status of your relationship or the day you’ve been dreading due to the fact that you’ll be highly aware of your very single status (as if Facebook didn’t make that clear enough). However, rather than being blatantly disappointed by your box of chocolates and/or the holiday why not celebrate in style, literally?

It’s fair to say that Nautical themed clothing is back in style. While many of us would like to capture this look in a classy sort of way, the last thing we want to do is actually mimic a sailor. I believe most of us are trying for the whole “I have my own yacht and leisurely sail on the weekend in the South of France” sort of thing, rather than the “I’m a hardcore sailor and this is how I dress..grrr” (don’t quite know if sailors grrr…I believe I’m thinking of Popeye)!

So instead of wishing for it… why not dress for it?! Spring is often known for the emerging of bright colors. Why wait until spring when we can bust them out in winter.

Who would of thought… Gaga isn’t Gaga after all?! Come on… if you didn’t question her antics a little you aren’t human. Anyone who wears kermit the frog draped all over them should be questioned. However, after watching Oprah this past Friday I’ve gained a whole new perspective of Gaga being Lady Gaga.

You know how there are imaginary fashion rules that have existed over time. These are the same ones that continuely rule what we can wear and can’t wear? Remember them?…Need some refreshment? “Don’t wear white after Labor Day”. “Shoes must match your shirt”. Don’t wear gold with …

That’s right ladies! Remember those fanny packs that were oh so popular in the 80s and 90s. Well…let’s face it, we still see some today. However, secretly we all liked them a little, right? I mean they were conveinent, you could fit about anything you wanted in them, and we also can’t deny that they were ideal for tourists, snacks, and a small child (okay i’m joking).

4 tips on what to wear for a first date:
1. Keep it casual. If it’s dinner and a movie or some other casual event don’t dress like you’re attending fine dining and a Broadway show…
